Product Description : This box works great by itself or as terminal tackle storage for a larger tackle organization system such as a soft sided bag. I bought this to hold rosary making supplies.It holds everything fine except wire and eye pins, because they can slide between compartments. It is a nice double sided box with compartments you can customise on one side otherwise. I don't like to drag a huge tackle box along with me when I go fishing and this box is the perfect size for everything I need. I have found this tackle box is great for surf fishing. There is plenty of room for my egg sinkers, bank sinkers, and pyramid sinkers. I was worried the plastic clips wouldn't last but they handle the heavy stuff well and I have never had it come open on me. It comes with dividers so you can customize the compartments to your heart's content.It measures 11 x 8 x 3 in. Large compartments are a little over an inch deep and the smaller compartments are about 1/2 an inch deep. My only real complaint is that if you store your swivels, beads, or other small items of tackle in the central compartments then there may be some slippage when you go carrying it around. The other review on here mentioned this too. But don't let that be a dealbreaker if you're thinking about buying this one though. You can easily store these small tackle in the outer compartments with absolutely no slippage.Overall it's a great american made tackle box. Definitely recommend it especially for surf fishing. It could work well for freshwater too but the Plano 3215 (called "double sided bulk storage" here on amazon) tackle box has more room for jigs and crankbaits and whatnot so take a look at that one if you intend to use this for that kind of tackle.
